Martina Cusano, 35 – Founder & CEO @Mukako – Milan


Martina is co-founder and CEO of Mukako.com. Previously she has been working in Privalia.com in Spain and led the startup of Groupalia.com in Spain and Italy. She also worked for UBS Investment Bank in London. She holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA from Bocconi University. Martina is passionate about e-commerce and bringing new solutions to online customers. Mukako.com is an e-commerce specialized on baby products. Mukako’s mission is to offer solutions to parents for time and money saving. On Mukako.com it is possible to purchase diapers on subscription or bulk quantities as well as a wide range of complimentary products, which have all been selected, tested and reviewed by the company for their clients.

 

Eliana Salvi , 32 – Founder & Managing Director @Pinktrotters – Milan, London

Eliana graduated at Bocconi University and attended Indian School of Business and Universidad de Belgrano. She worked as Finance Manager for 6 years and then founded Pinktrotters. As Eliana’s biggest passion is traveling, Pinktrotters was born from her wish to give women the opportunity to have fun together wherever they are located, with a touch of glamour. Chiara Burberi, 48 – Co-founder & CEO @Redooc – Milan

Chiara is President & CEO of Redooc. She has been a teacher in Bocconi, a consultant in McKinsey and in BPI, a manager in Unicredit and a Non-Executive Director in listed and non listed companies. She has a passion for art, creativity and STEM education, in particular for girls. She has co-founded in Milano redooc.com an ed-tech specialized in STEM subjects (starting from Math) for teens.

Monica is the CEO & Founder of Tailoritaly. Monica has an entrepreneurial and global-orientated mindset. She used to work in multicultural, challenging and dynamic environments in Australia, Germany and Italy in the fashion e-commerce sector. She has a strong business and analytical background and a deep passion for fashion. Tailoritaly is the online fashion platform that lets customers customize their clothes and accessories choosing details, color, fabric and fit. Everything is exclusively made in the Italian regions of Tuscany, Puglia and Basilicata. Thanks to Tailoritaly personalisation software, customers can switch on and off each of the customization options, creating several and unique variations for a single product.

 

 

   

 

Serena Ruffato, 29 – Co-founder @Tooteko – Venice

Serena is Co-founder of Tooteko Srls, a social innovation startup based in Venice, along with Fabio D’Agnano and Gilda Lombardi. Serena holds a Post Graduate Master degree in Digital Architecture (IUAV, Venice) on “Architecture and the visually impaired: Rapid Prototyping for the integration”.  
Tooteko is a wearable device that combines touch and hearing to help the visually impaired visualize objects that they couldn’t experience otherwise. It has a built-in NFC antenna that detects the sensors and triggers digital contents directly to the smart device. The starting point was to bring visual arts to the blind, but Tooteko finds applications in other areas: daily life and pharma.

Elisa di Lorenzo – Founder @Untold Games – Genoa, London

Passionate about video games from an early age, Elisa graduates in Computer Science from the University of Genoa, Italy, focusing on Computer Vision. She started working as a video game programmer first, dealing in particular with artificial intelligence and pathfinding, then as a producer and later as business development manager.Untold Games is a development studio pioneering interactive cinematic content for the emerging virtual reality technologies by creating game experiences with deep storytelling and a strong emotional impact. The company’s first title, Loading Human, was backed on Kickstarter and will be amongst the first games available on the major upcoming VR platforms. Untold Games has headquarters in London (UK) and a development team in Genova, Italy.

Federica Storace  (CEO) & Valeria Cambrea (Sales Director) – Founders @Drexcode – Milan

Federica Storace was born in Genoa and got a Master degree in Economics. After a career in Marketing and Trade Marketing in multinational companies (Nestle, Danone, Kraft) she decided to launch Drexcode.com, together with Valeria, former colleague and close friend.

Valeria Cambrea was born in Genoa and got a Master degree in Economics. She has an International experience in Marketing and Innovation for multinational company (Danone group). After a deep market and consumer analisys, Federica and Valeria defined the business model and started to engage top fashion brands.

The launch of Drexcode was then in June 2014. Drexcode is an online platform for high-end fashion rental focused on luxury dresses and accessorizes for special occasions from the latest collections of the most famous fashion brands. The intent is to solve the problem of female dress code for special occasions, allowing all women to wear top designer clothes every times they wish.

 

Cristina Angelillo, 32 – Founder & CEO @Marshmallow Games – Bari

Cristina Angelillo worked for 5 years as hardware engineer in the broadcasting industry, but once realized she was about to become a mum she decided to follow two passions of hers: kids and teaching, thus deciding to start Marshmallow Games. She is the CEO of the company and the responsible of business development, partnerships and fundraising. Marshmallow Games is based in Bari and works in the edutainment sector. It proposes a new game based learning experience that follows preschoolers along a didactic path towards discovering scholar subjects in a new funny way, using devices that they love like smartphones and tablets. Marshmallow Games mixes games and narration to create interactive tales that help kids learning while having fun.

 

Federica Pascotto & Giovanna Hirich – Founders @Art Stories – Milan

Federica holds a degree in Art History and a has a big passion for education. She has always worked as a museum consultant, focusing on the crossroad between education, publishing and new technologies, art and history. She believes technology can be a most efficient means for cultural mediation: that’s why she co-founded Art Stories.

Giovanna holds an MSc in development economics in London, a PhD in Florence. She has a long experience as a researcher, consultant and project manager in local development projects.

Art Stories is a start-up based in Milan. It develops a digital educational project on heritage: apps and games that provide a fun and creative approach to art and history. Art Stories encourages kids to learn through exploration, by providing stories and cues about art and culture: parents are so surprised when they discover how much their kids have learnt by playing with Art Stories apps!

 

 

 

   

 

 

Marzia Borroni – Founder @Simplygifts – Milan 

Marzia Borroni

Marzia Borroni worked as manager for many companies both in Italy and Europe. With a bright personality she loves to code and she has developed and launched many projects. WinwinIT has developed an innovative prepaid system seeking to solve customer needs while working to grow partners’ businesses. Her first consumer platform,Simplygifts, is an online card management service. SimplyGifts provides gift cards which are more convenient both for consumers and brands. More brands are offered on the platform to capitalize the prepaid product line ( i.e “da oggi in due” – wedding box). SimplyGifts is both in-store, Mondadori, and online.
